Mentorships (or specialized radio, film, or broadcasting internships) are something we are quite fond of here at Indie Wolf, especially since a few us actually know individuals that have completed such a program.  How cool is it that you can get one-on-one training with a professional in your desired field of work at a fraction of the cost of a traditional four year university?  And for those of skeptics of the program, how about all the perks the program provides?  Besides being a more financially pragmatic solution, the training occurs around your schedule (allowing you to still work) and you are exposed to a number of contacts within the industry.  In fact, mentorship programs typically have a 100% job placement rate for individuals that complete the program.  Pretty impressive.  We happened to find another guy that seems to agree with us…check out his post.
